I am not sure what there is about me, other than that I am a girl in my 20s living in Singapore. I suppose the title of this site says it all. Just trying to grow a life out of ordinary days.
Pen name’s Bealie. Bea for Beatrice, it reminds me of The Beatrice Letters by Lemony Snicket. I never read the actual books, nor A Series of Unfortunate Events, but perhaps I shall start. I do love the quotes in The Beatrice Letters, though. So Bealie it is. Pronounced like Bee-lie. Which is funny because everytime I pronounce it in my head I can just hear Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean and that amuses me.
